These works are inspired from quotes by my grandchildren, Caleb, Mackenzie, and Zachary. I have added one much earlier quote from my daughter Julie. As young children combine their thought processes with their new verbal vocabulary, the outcome is often unexpected and sometimes quite profound.
Upon further reflection of these works, each inherently holds layers of meaning. Initially there is the special memory itself, and then they speak of lessons and insights of my teaching, my faith, and my life.
