Beyond Words

Making art from my handwoven textiles was an epiphany for me in two key ways. First, working with fiber materials incorporates so many of my favorite, life-long processes. And second, putting these media limitations on myself as an artist gave me the direction and confidence to follow my own path.

This series begins with my visual representation of words from the Scriptures and continues with quiet reflection and meditation.
